Millionaires don't have astrologers, billionaires do.

~John Pierpoint Morgan

Astrology is not mere superstition but contains some psychological facts (like theosophy) which are of considerable importance. Astrology has actually nothing to do with the stars but is the 5000-year-old psychology of antiquity and the Middle Ages.

~C.G. Jung

We did make Roberta's second album around an astrological theme because she wanted to and because we know the Americans are crazy about astrology.

~Giorgio Moroder

Mantras - For Peace of Mind

Mantras were originally conceived in the great Hindu scriptures known as the Vedas. Within practically all Hindu scriptures, the writing is formed in painstakingly crafted two line "shlokas" and most mantras follow this pattern, although mantras are often found in single line or even single word combinations. The most basic mantra is Aum, which in Hinduism is known as the "pranava mantra," the source of all mantras.

The Power of Mantras
These Mantras have been perfected by our ancient Sages and Saints, after thousands of years of perseverance & patience and are the most sacred & powerful medium to attain almost about anything in life, whether it is wealth, education or wisdom.

The appropriate Mantra, if recited while adhering to prescribed rules & regulations, under proper conditions and guidance of an Astrologer, not only solve problems, but also help in reducing mental strain & attaining peace of mind.

Each Mantra has a different use, and only the right Mantra results in the right solution, since each Mantra creates its own vibrations or cosmic energy.

How to recite Mantras

The Mantras should be recited softly, in a pleasant musical tone which increases concentration. The Mantras must be recited as they are, without any addition or alteration, otherwise they loose their power & cease to yield the desired effect. The Mantras should be repeated in a systematic manner, without any stress or strain on the body & mind. It is necessary to meditate & concentrate without having any of your problems or desires in mind. Purity of thought, sincerity of purpose & a deep-rooted belief is necessary for effectiveness of Mantras.

It is ideal to have good wholesome vegetarian food in small quantities & avoid intoxicants for better results. Over-eating or eating the wrong food stimulates the sensory organs & leads to over-emotionalism, the major deterrent in achieving one’s goals.

Mantra

A mantra is a religious syllable or poem, typically from the Sanskrit language. Their use varies according to the school and philosophy associated with the mantra. They are primarily used as spiritual conduits, words or vibrations that instill one-pointed concentration in the devotee. Other purposes have included religious ceremonies to accumulate wealth, avoid danger, or eliminate enemies.

Mantras originated in India with Vedic Hinduism and were later adopted by Buddhists, Sikhs and Jains, now popular in various modern forms of spiritual practice which are loosely based on practices of these Eastern religions.

They are intended to deliver the mind from illusion and material inclinations. Chanting is the process of repeating a mantra.
